• Manage integration and extension projects for the Canonical Ubuntu Cloud, from the design phase through production launch, ensuring zero impact during changes and delivering necessary resources for system/services operation
• Provide technical expertise for migrating VMware Cloud workloads to the new Canonical OpenStack environment
• Plan and execute operations, considering alert management for cost, quality, and deadlines
• Implement proposed upgrades and maintain various platforms in operational condition
• Conduct capacity planning for resources across VMware and Canonical Clouds

• Proficiency in installing, configuring, and operating OpenStack, preferably in the Kolla Ansible version
• Experience with installing, configuring, and operating Ceph distributed storage
• Mastery of OpenStack core modules: Nova, Neutron, Cinder, Swift, Horizon, Glance
• Familiarity with Debian or Ubuntu operating systems
• Working with containers using Docker Engine and Podman
• Previous work with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Bifrost for installation, Ansible for deployment and maintenance, and Terraform for testing
• Familiarity with LANs: IPv4/6, addressing, subnets, routes, DHCP, TCP/UDP, port aggregation
