We are looking for a specialist to join a project in the financial sector.

The programmer in this position will be responsible for the transformation program within credit risk and risk models and for delivering one of the key applications that is based on the Hadoop platform.

• Developing Scala/Spark programs, scripts, and macros for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
• Designing and implementing solutions to meet business requirements
• Supporting and maintaining existing Hadoop applications and related technologies
• Developing and keeping up metadata, user access, and security controls
• Creating technical documentation, including data models, process flows, and system diagrams

• Minimum 3 years of programming experience in Scala/Spark
• Familiarity with Jenkins, Hive Queries, Oozie GIT, Splunk, and Shell scripting
• Very good understanding of the Hadoop ecosystem
• Experience in performing unit tests of the Scala code
• Ability to work in a challenging and agile environment with quick turnaround times and strict deadlines
• Excellent level of communication in English and Polish
