We are looking for an excellent sales executive to create competitive advantages for Polonia Warszawa by leading revenue and profit growth, supporting the club’s financial sustainability.

Your role

  • Drive sponsors, advertisers & elite group member’s acquisition:
  • Elaborate persuasive presentations & creative sponsorship and advertising proposals to obtain new sponsors, new advertisers & new elite group members for the club
  • Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails; obtain at least 4 exploration meetings per week with prospects. Register contacts and appointments in our CRM
  • Successfully negotiate and win sponsorships & advertising deals
  • Build long-lasting relationships with existing and potential sponsors, Polonia Warszawa partners, VIPs (elite group members) & important influencers. Develop close relationships with prospects & customers decision makers (CEO & CMO), advertising & media agencies
  • Launch & grow our elite group program & members
  • Manage VIP zone & elite group during matchday in K6. Manage match day experience in VIP tribune for elite group members, ensuring proper catering & hospitality services, pleasant experience during matchday at affordable cost. Provide specific elite group membership benefits (best place in tribune - premium seats, catering, parking, dedicated meetings). Manage day-to-day needs of VIPs (elite group members) & sponsors
  • Oversee sponsors advertisers & elite group contracts, invoicing, and accounts receivable & develop processes to ensure execution and payment collections. Process all correspondence and paperwork related to sponsors, advertisers & elite group members
  • Support Polonia Sales, Marketing & Communication team to produce the desired results:
  • Ensure efficient Sales, marketing & communication deliverables at affordable cost
  • Support Ticket selling & Marketing team to:
  • Grow the revenue and increase profits, expanding our customer base for sponsoring, advertising, elite group members, ticket selling, merchandising unit (clothes & gadgets), academy & gastronomy
  • Maximize frequency & stadium seat utilization & increase the number of tickets sold (matchday & season tickets)
  • Ensure Polonia Warszawa has an effective online & offline promotion of its home matches in our stadium/ K6 to increase ticket selling & frequency in our stadium. Manage efficient ticket sales promotion campaigns
  • Ensure good services for email and telephone booking inquiries. Support visitors to book tickets online, in the stadium, and over the phone, and always provide efficient customer service at an affordable cost
  • Manage the department's cost, productivity, velocity, efficiency, and budget. Negotiate with workers, suppliers, and vendors to acquire the most cost-effective products & services. Manage sales & marketing department procedures, checklists & dashboards to monitor KPI
  • Manage Polonia communication: website content, news, interviews, social media profiles (Facebook, X, YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok) & content. Plan & deliver social media campaigns. Manage communication & promotion plan/ schedule/ procedures/ checklist. Increase the number of followers on our social media
  • Increase the number of CRM contacts and manage proper CRM database segmentation & marketing automation. Run mass mailings and newsletter campaigns
  • Manage fan community (fan requests, emails, telephone, and physical meetings in K6). Strengthen fans' engagement. Build positive & mutually beneficial relationships between Polonia Warszawa and our public / fans. But also, be strict with fans when they don’t respect our rules, are against the club’s interest, or behave against our mission & core values (or are simply annoying)
  • Handle public relations, information output, and media requests. Manage & develop relations with media, journalists & influencers
  • Promote strategic sponsors like Sii or GN personal brand & publish attractive content that defends club interest, mission, and core values
  • Manage cooperation with the graphic and video team. Drive preparation of materials with the graphics and video departments including advertising campaigns, various promotions, and photo sessions. Manage our marketing content warehouse (film shooting & pictures) with efficient search engine
  • Resolve problems when they occur. Manage crisis communication when needed. Solve everyday problems, and troubleshooting (ideally anticipate problems and risks before they occur)
  • Support the Administration Department in ensuring the continuity of the club's office (including registration and management of correspondence, providing good quality documents, and assistance in organizing and conducting meetings)
  • Support Polonia’s apparel/ clothes/ gadget/ merchandising selling:
  • Advice & support clothes & gadgets unit lead to increased revenue and profit and maximize customer satisfaction, supporting the club’s financial sustainability
  • Support the unit lead to selling clothes & gadgets to Polonia’s fans & kids from our academy. Develop a merchandising pricing strategy that maximizes revenue & profits growth
  • Ensure proper selling activities via our Polonia website/e-commerce tool + physical selling to our fans & academy members in K6. Create a comfortable shopping experience for Polonia’s customers. Ensure products are presented in the most appealing way
  • Develop our marketing strategy and promotion plans for clothes, gadgets & merchandising. Manage online marketing activities, including advertising campaigns, various promotions, photographic sessions, video production, graphics designers, social media communication
  • Support Logistics activities – on place and time. Plans order delivery, tracks completion and arranges transport of goods to clients. Supervise stock inventory & optimize warehouse management
  • Ensure efficient customer service & maximize customer satisfaction. Build positive relations with Polonia’s fans. Obtain regular feedback from them, critics, interesting ideas, and improvement propositions. Resolve customer complaints
  • Manage relations with Ultras Enigma, not letting them compete against the club with clothes & gadget products
  • Support Polonia’s apparel/ clothes/ gadget/ merchandising team:
  • Advice & support clothes & gadgets unit leads to increase revenue and profit and maximizes customer satisfaction, supporting the club’s financial sustainability

Your skills
  • Proven 10+ years of experience working as a Sales Manager, Business Developer, or Sales Representative (preferably previous experience in the advertising, event, media, or entertainment company or marketing agency). Sound knowledge of sales & marketing principles and techniques. Excellent selling/ business development skills. Commercial awareness. Strong negotiation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Expressing one's opinion precisely. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations and make formal presentations to corporate and professional groups
  • Excellent interpersonal skills. Charisma, Positive energy, can-do attitude, and enthusiasm. Make contacts & friends easily. Build natural trust & credibility, displaying professionalism and a positive attitude
  • Strong project management & organizational skills. Deliver on time, budget & quality with proper attention to detail. Effective time management skills and the ability to multitask. Ability to prioritize tasks and work to be done
  • You have many business contacts in Warsaw with business leaders (entrepreneurs, CEOs, CMOs) of large companies & celebrities (sports, culture, politicians, journalists)
  • Crazy ambition, huge motivation, fighting spirit
  • Hands-on. Ability to walk, stand, and occasionally carry heavy items in a fast-paced, stressful environment
  • Willingness to work during peak hours, including nights & weekends (during matches). Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Remain calm in stressful situations. Excellent problem-solving and conflict management abilities. Ability to work with diverse personalities (fans) and diffuse tense situations. Decisiveness
  • Authority. A person who knows how to be firm, tough & strict, when necessary, with certain workers + supporters or fans who do not respect the club's interests or core values. Someone who is not afraid of receiving criticism, not scared to have haters among fans when defending the club’s interests
  • Ability to recruit good, smart, efficient and nice workers
  • Ability to dismiss subordinates when necessary. (Worker dismissal is a tough & sad decision, but crucial for the club’s health, performance, and remaining employees' well-being. Keep in mind that a Worker quitting/dismissal is good in the following cases: Underperformers — Workers who fail to meet expectations slow the growth down (keeping such low performers leads to poor service for customers and demotivates other colleagues); Toxic Troublemakers — individuals who create conflicts and display toxic behavior, negatively impacting team engagement, motivation, and morale; Economic reasons — financial constraints lead to the necessity to let some employees go to ensure the company’s financial sustainability
