Sii Sweden is now looking for a Data Engineer to embrace the challenge of advancing our data analytics capabilities for one of our customers, a leader in the home appliances industry.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our data infrastructure, utilizing cutting-edge technologies such as Microsoft ADLS, Databricks, SQL, PowerBI, and Qlik. You will work on complex data projects, ensuring quality data delivery and engaging in the prototyping of new solutions. Collaborate closely with an international team of data & visualization engineers, product owners, and business analysts to drive the development of innovative, data-driven solutions. • Participate in discovery workshops to understand the business objectives and goals
• Define minimum viable product scope for the upcoming initiatives and outline a future roadmap of enhancements and potential improvements
• Prepare functional to technical specifications, give the needed instructions to the agile delivery team, test the product results, and ensure a quality delivery according to the business requirements
• Drive the collaboration in development and rollout efforts for the new initiatives through the Data Architect, and product teams, and actively engage in prototyping new solutions utilizing the Data Lake and Analytical solutions
• Provide training and guidance to business key users and ensure successful adoption in day-to-day operations with final solution handover to support function

• At least 5 years of experience delivering analytics projects
• Experience as a functional consultant or an IT Business analyst with a well-rounded understanding of analytics, agile software development, and business transformation
• Hands-on experience in analytics development with Microsoft ADLS, Databricks, SQL, PowerBI & Qlik
• Excellent communicator with strong relationship-building skills
• Extraordinary planning, communication, and presentation skills
• Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
• Speak fluent English. Additional European languages are considered a plus
