Acquiring theoretical basics of performance test preparation (test types and levels, test data preparation, environments). Practical familiarization with the JMeter application.

RECIPIENTS

People working with web application testing, webservices, with microservices architecture, having the knowledge and skills in test automation, able to prepare test scenarios and data, willing to start working with performance tests.

JMeter – introduction:

  • basic information on JUnit
  • configuration components
  • traffic generating components
  • monitors
  • components regulating the generated load
  • most commonly used plugins

JMeter – workshop on the example of REST API:

  • project preparation
  • creating a test scenario
  • creating various types of tests
  • collecting results
  • distributed testing
