TRAINING OBJECTIVE

The aim of the training is to use all available capabilities of Linux in your daily work as a developer or a tester.

RECIPIENTS

All persons working as a developer or a tester who want to get familiar with Linux and want to use it in their daily work.

  • The operating system to the extent that they can work freely
  • Basic tools to automate daily work
  • Methods of installing software in Linux systems

Listeners will gain detailed knowledge allowing them to:

  • Administer an operating system from Debian/Ubuntu family
  • Work quickly and efficiently in the terminal
  • Install software from sources
  • Run and configure their own HTTP server
  • Analyze data flowing over the HTTP protocol
  • Prepare a development/testing environment independently

  20. Running a simple HTTP server
  21. SSH protocol / key logging
  22. File transfer (scp, Samba, NFS, FTP)
  23. Working with logs
  24. cURL as a tool for sending HTTP requests
  25. Automating tasks with simple Bash/Python scripts
