This course teaches how to manage security across Azure and on-premises, covers an end-to-end look at each of the security tools, how to deploy and configure them, and what scenarios they are primarily used for. The security engineer will configure security settings, manage secure identities, build and administer firewalls, configure access policies, and monitor your solution.

Module 0: Course Introduction

This module provides a high-level introduction to the course.

Module 1: Manage Identity and Access

This module introduces you to Azure Active Directory, managing identity, and controlling access.

Module 2: Platform Protection

In this module, you’ll learn about implementing security features to protect and secure your Azure solution infrastructure.

Module 3: Secure data and application

In this module, you will learn about Security Engineer tools to lock down access and usage of applications and data.

Module 4: Security Operations

In this module, you will learn how the Security Engineer use tools like Sentinel and Monitor to manage security on Azure.

Audience

The course is intended for Azure administrators who want to broaden their knowledge of security issues.

It is recommended to have 12 months of experience and an Azure Administrator certificate.
