20 hours of programming, 8 cities, 1 passion – Let’s Cod is coming!

On the 18th and 19th of November in eight cities in Poland the night hackathon – Let’s Code will take place. This time the task for the programmers will be to create an application in one of the three themes: business, passion & lifestyle or social responsibility. They have 20 hours to do so! It is worth taking part in this challenge – the creators of best applications will win Samsung Gear S2 Classic smartwatches and 10,000 PLN!

More and more media patrons are interested in the hackathon, among them: Harvard Business Review Poland, the Pro Progressio Foundation, Spotkania IT, Magazyn Programista, TVP3 Łódź, the Łódź University, Radio Kampus from Warsaw, Polskie Radio Lublin, lubelska TV, Nasze Miasto Lublin, Radio Mors from Gdynia, Nasz Głos Poznański, Magazyn Studencki Podaj Dalej from Cracow, the Katowice portal and more.

How does the competition work? There are two stages of Let’s code: the local and the global one. At the local stage, the jury selects the top three teams that have demonstrated the best idea for an application, high code quality, and good project management. The winning team will be awarded with smartwaches and the three top teams go on to the global stage. The 3 best applications from every location: Warsaw, Lodz Gdansk, Poznan, Wroclaw, Cracow, Katowice and Lublin, fight for the main prize – 10 000 PLN! At this stage everything depends on the voices of the Internet users!

The competition is getting bigger and bigger every year. In 2016 it had 283 participants who created 32 applications! This year 40 teams have already signed up! Therefore, if you want to take part in the hackathon, do not wait and register on the Let’s code web site. The registration closes on November 10th!
