Do you want to efficiently manage complex IT services and effectively collaborate with multiple vendors? This training will provide you with the key concepts, definitions, and knowledge to understand what SIAM® is and how to implement this methodology in your organization. You will learn best practices, how to identify challenges and threats, and prepare to work as a service integrator. You will gain comprehensive knowledge that will allow you to streamline processes and improve the quality of IT services.

Prerequisites

There are no specific pre-requisites for entry to the examination; however it is strongly recommended that candidates have good knowledge of IT Service Management terminology, for instance through a recognized IT Service Management framework.

Certificate and exam

The training prepares you for an accredited exam, after passing which you will earn an internationally recognized SIAM® Foundation certificate.

  • SIAM® methodology and the various structures suggested for the service integrator layer
  • Service Integration and Management Implementation Roadmap

  • Different SIAM® roles and their responsibilities
  • Service Integration and Management practices
  • Different ITSM practices

Presentation, lecture, discussion, case study and assignments.

Exam language: English

  • Exam is obligatory
  • Multiple choice test; 40 questions
  • Pass mark: 65% (26 out of 40)
  • Open book: no
  • Electronic devices permitted: no
  • Time allocation: 60 min + 25% for non-native speakers
