About the client
Polish Bank combining functions of both: an association and a commercial bank. It provides a wide range of services for over 30 years.
The challenge
The client was interested in the automation of the process of handling weekly tenders for money bills. Until now, the process was carried out traditionally, by phone or email. Voucher purchases were manually entered into the bank’s transaction system by staff.
What we did
- Added new functionality to the system to allow for tendering and the management of future tenders.
- Extended the existing interface to the banking transaction system to automate manual processes.
Effects
Manually running tenders used to be complex and took too much time. However, automating the process has significantly reduced these problems. Employees can concentrate on other tasks instead of dealing with manual entry of bills.
